As part of the Final Fantasy XIV Digital Fan Festival 2021, Square Enix has announced a 4 vinyl record collection. The MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV was originally released September 2010, but was a poorly received. It was subsequently successfully relaunched as A Realm Reborn in August 2013 and has had multiple expansions since then.

While Nobuo Uematsu was primarily involved in composing the soundtrack for the original release of Final Fantasy XIV, the soundtrack for A Realm Reborn was primarily composed by Masayoshi Soken. Although both Uematsu and Soken have contributed to the soundtracks for Final Fantasy XIV from the beginning, Soken has remained the director for the subsequent expansions.

Square Enix has previously released complete soundtracks for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, and its expansions Heavensward, Stormblood, and Shadowbringers on Blu-Ray. However, Square Enix recently announced a 4 vinyl record collection with tracks selected by Masayoshi Soken. Interestingly, the vinyl are being mastered by industry expert Bernie Grundman. You can pre-order the records now individually or as a set. The records have a planned release of August 31st, 2021.
