Suikoden I&II HD Remaster 7 CD Soundtrack Available for Pre-order
Konami developed and published the successful RPG Suikoden for the PlayStation on December 15th, 1995. The sequel, Suikoden II, was released on the PlayStation on December 17th, 1998, and is considered by many to be one of the best RPGs of all time. Konami has announced that a remaster of these two games will be released for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC on March 6th, 2025 as Suikoden I&II HD Remaster Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars.
The soundtrack to both games was composed primarily by Miki Higashino, part of the Konami Kukeiha Club. As part of the remaster release, Konami is releasing a 7 CD soundtrack for the games. Similar to the games’ original soundtracks, Suikoden’s score is 2 CDs, and Suikoden II’s soundtrack is 4 CDs long. An additional bonus CD of arrangements and “music box” versions of songs from both games is included in the set. While the game doesn’t release until March 2025, the soundtrack is scheduled for release in January 2025.
