Final Fantasy XI 20th Anniversary Vinyl Available for Pre-order

Final Fantasy XI is a MMORPG originally released in Japan for the Playstation 2 by Square on May 16th, 2002. The games was subsequently released on PC in Japan later that year, and the PC release was available in North America on October 28th, 2003, along with the Rise of the Zilart expansion. While the console servers are no longer active, Final Fantasy XI is currently active for PCs, twenty years later.

The soundtrack for Final Fantasy XI was composed by Naoshi Mizuta. Nubuo Uematsu and Kumi Tanioka also contributed compositions to the base game, however Mizuta has been the composer for the entire series, including the five expansions Rise of the Zilart, Chains of Promathia, Treasures of the Aht Urhgan, Wings of the Goddess, and Seekers of Adoulin.

In order to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the release of the original game in Japan, Square Enix is releasing a vinyl with tracks from throughout the series. The disc features 3 songs from the base game, and one or two tracks from each of the five expansions. Pre-orders are available now from the Square Enix Store, with an estimated shipping date in March 2023.
