Triangle Strategy soundtrack by Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood composer Akira Senju available for pre-order

Square Enix is releasing the strategy RPG game, Triangle Strategy, for the Nintendo Switch on March 4th, 2022. The game’s development is being lead by Tomoya Asano, who also produced Octopath Traveler. Triangle Strategy shares the same art style as Octopath Traveler, a modernized version of 16-bit era pixel art referred to as HD-2D.

A 4 CD soundtrack for Triangle Strategy is available for pre-order. The music is composed by Akira Senju, a classically trained composer who has not worked on many video games. Senju’s work is more commonly featured in anime, such as the acclaimed Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.

In February 2021, Square Enix released a demo of the Triangle Strategy, which included multiple hours of music. The classical musical style definitely matches the game’s aesthetics. At times the demo’s music is subdued and suggestive of political intrigue, while the battles feature bombastic and energetic music. The full soundtrack is available to pre-order from multiple sites.
