Borderlands 2, a highly stylized and frenetic first person shooter, was released by Gearbox Software in 2012 for the Playstation 4 and Xbox 360. It was subsequently ported to Xbox One, Playstation 4, Switch, and even the Vita.

The soundtrack to the game brings back together an all-star team of composers, including Jesper Kyd, Sascha Dikiciyan, Cris Velasco, Raison Varner, Kevin Riepl, and Jimmy Hinson. The album is an atmospheric mix of Western and electronic that perfectly matches the aesthetic of the game.

Laced Records announced a 4 record soundtrack for the came that included the tracks for the original game on two vinyls, followed by tracks from the DLC and extended soundtrack on the two additional records. You can pre-order the soundtrack now, and it is scheduled to be released May 2021.
